Betisenian of San Diego was founded in 1987.
It started off with a small pot-luck gathering, at a public park, with a few friends and family members.
Remembering, sharing, and expressing the memories and experience of home.
To this day we have a total of 500 + members and guest who attend our yearly gathering from all over the world.
We, the Betisenian of San Diego strive to achieve one goal...UNITE!
Unite to celebrate our faith, in dedication to our Patron, Saint James "Apung Tiago".
Unite to rekindle memories from old and new.
Unite to share our culture by means of socialization, food, dance, games, and entertainment.
Unite to help better our community both here in the United States, Abroad, or our native country, the Philippines.
In our home town of Betis, you can always feel that sense of being home.
No matter how long you've been gone you are welcomed by open arms by family, friends, community, and the Church.
Betisenian is a connection, an ability to rekindle that feeling, that sense, that comfort.
It's a wealth of knowledge that we can pass on for generations and to continue the tradition for many years to come.
Friends become family, families become one in whole.
